Chassis 303208 was manufactured in December 1965, finished in Black (Schwarz 6609) and delivered new to Hobart McAlister of Beverly Hills, via Competition Motors of Culver City, California, USA.
Imported into the Netherlands in 2010, the car was chosen by esteemed early 911 race specialists - Duel Motorsport - as an ideal candidate for a full rebuild to FIA historic race specification. Duel, run by Ed Poland, have been amongst the leading European preparers of the SWB 2.0 911 for historic motorsport and developed the famous Red 2.0 SWB that has since become one of the most YouTube- viewed on-board qualifying laps of Spa, in the hands of their development driver, Pascal Pandelaar.
Fitted with a fully welded-in roll cage, which meets FIA Appendix K regulations. A Duel Motorsport, 200bhp 2.0L race engine with Solex carburettors and Duel exhaust system. Short ratio 901 gearbox with LSD. Duel Motorsport drive shafts, Duel Motorsport suspension, 100L ATL fuel cell. Heated windshield, AIM HD Cam and Solo lap timer, Recaro race seat and Zero 360 extinguisher systemCompleted in 2017, hours remain extremely low with one shakedown and never raced, it has covered nominal mileage since completion.
